This commission was a heartfelt gift from a lovely lady to her husband.
They had recently fulfilled a long held dream of theirs of purchasing a historical home. Purchased just prior to Christmas (and without the husband ever having set foot in it), the new home would be hosting the whole extended family for the holidays. This commission was sneakily organised and now hangs with love in their new historical home.
Acrylic and pen on canvas and sealed with a clear gloss varnish to protect. 
This work is painted on all four sides of the deep edge canvas giving it extra dimension.
