This commission was a thoughtful and heartfelt gift for a family from a good friend. The owners of this house had made the difficult decision to remove this home and build a new, larger home to accommodate the needs of a growing family (and business). It wasn't an easy decision to make as the home held so many happy memories of raising their family and all the good times over the years spent here. The lovely friend decided to commission this piece to hang in their new home - complete with their caravan, work truck and dogs. 
Acrylic and pen on canvas and sealed with a clear gloss varnish to protect. 
This work is painted on all four sides of the deep edge canvas giving it extra dimension.
